Global Youth Entrepreneurs Forum 2015
Once again, the Federation is pleased to bring together 500 young entrepreneurs, sharing creative, innovative ideas and business plans with those who have more entrepreneurial experience.

Global Youth Entrepreneurs Forum 2015: "What Next? Growing Entrepreneurship" will be on 3-4 August, both in Hong Kong and the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub (E Hub), China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone. Hearing from expert keynote speakers and potential mentors from the US, Taiwan, Israel and more places, participants in the Forum will have the perfect opportunity to build on strong foundations and grow their entrepreneurial talent.

Patrick Lin shares vision on movie animation with students invited by HKFYG M21 at special screening of new film: Inside Out
Disney: Inside Out
Inside Out, a brand new movie from Pixar Animation Studios released by Walt Disney Pictures, had a special screening on 21 June at The Grand, Elements. Students in the audience were invited by Hong Kong Disneyland and after the show a talk about careers in movie animation was given by Hong Kong "hometown hero" Patrick Lin, Director of Photography for Inside Out and Layout Supervisor from Pixar. The film, which has received unanimous critical acclaim from reviewers and audiences around the world, tells a moving story about the inside and outside worlds of 11-year old Riley growing up, and the many exciting adventures of the five Emotions - Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Anger - within her that make this title one of Pixar's most imaginative, vibrant and emotional releases to date.

M21 video advertisement competition funded by HSBC with online public voting
M21 video advertisement competition
Calling now for 30-second public awareness ads which promote inclusiveness for underprivileged groups. Courtesy of HSBC, teams of 12-35 year-olds are invited to enter this competition organized by HKFYG's M21. Videos can be in Chinese or English and entries will be judged on message, creativity, and production skills. Prizes worth HK$30,000 will go for the Best Ad, the Best Ad Production and Most Creative Ad.

G.P.S. Youth Employment Programme with Hang Seng Bank 2015
The Hang Seng - G.P.S. Youth Employment Programme is the first of its kind. It integrates the concept of a gap year with counselling by social workers for low academic achievers and those over-stressed by studying. Participants rethink and plan their future while gaining work experience before decisions are made about continued studies or joining the work force. Piloted last year by HKFYG's Youth Employment Network.
Now open for applications from students aged 16 upwards.

Project SIM from the HKFYG Youth Crime Prevention Centre funded by the Beat Drugs Fund
Project-SIM, a 2-year project funded by the Beat Drugs Fund, is now helping young drug abusers in New Territories South. Running till April 2017, this Stratified Intervention Model (SIM) for youth offers a customised drug treatment service.
