HKFYG Schoolike Teachers and Programmes Awards
Sponsored by the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education and supported by the Education Bureau, these awards have been won by 10 teachers and 10 school programmes. The Federation received 168 nominations this year from 101 local schools and the ceremony will also include a sharing session from teachers and school representatives about the inspiration and insight to be gained and through teaching and organizing school activities.

Social inclusion: goal of uTouch Cyber Youth Outreach Project funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust
uTouch Cyber Youth Outreach Project
The HKFYG Media Counselling Centre has received substantial funding from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust to organize the uTouch Cyber Youth Outreach Project for the next 3 years. Its aim is social inclusion for 6-24 year-old youth-at-risk. Cross-sector partnerships will also be built through a series of online-to-offline (O2O) social innovation programmes.

Project Honesty: stopping crime before it starts
The HKFYG Youth Crime Prevention Centre has funding from the Tin Ka Ping Foundation for Project Honesty, a new scheme that helps to prevent youth getting involved in crime or taking illegal jobs. Activities and services include educational anti-crime videos, talks at schools and counselling for hundreds of students. On now till July 2017.

Today's online classrooms are changing learning modes from passive to active and HKFYG's Leadership 21 Hang Seng Leaders to Leaders Online Classroom is up with the trend. Thai boxing for youth-at-risk courtesy of K&K Charity Ltd
The Federation's Youth Crime Prevention Centre has funding for a Youth Thai Boxing Training Programme starting this month and running till next September. With a 2:1 youth: mentor ratio the focus of this programme is on emotional management to avoid violent behaviour. The sport is also good for fitness and psychological resilience.
